THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PADDLE.  Down river, so easy.  PLEASE REGISTER IF ATTENDING!!

The kids are back in school and the cool spring water will feel wonderful, so register at Weeki Wachee NOW for the 10 AM slot.  If that is filled, register for 10:30.  If you are thinking about going, register NOW at the Weeki Wachee website or call! (there is a limited number allowed and they do give refunds if cancelled more than 24 hours in advance).  $9 per vessel is refundable up to Sept. 17 (no parking fee).   This will fill up quickly.

• Date / Time:  Friday, Sept. 18.  Launch 10 AM, be there by 9 at the latest to shuttle cars and set up your kayak.

• • Call the rental company at 352-597-8484 or go online to the above site and schedule a rental $40.  Rentals will only go half of the trip and will be shuttled back to the start by the park service.
