The Dunedin Boat Club Racing Program Needs Your HELP.

INFORMATIONAL MEETING TUESDAY, JUNE 23RD AT THE BACK ROOM OF LUCKY LOBSTER.  7PM   COME AND HEAR HOW YOU CAN HELP.  BOTH POWER BOATERS AND NON BOATERS NEEDED.

The Dunedin Boat Club needs help supporting racing in the future.

Powerboats, both smaller and larger, even sailboats, are needed to assist with race operations. The responsibilities will include setting the race marks under the direction of the Professional Race Officer, slowly cruising the course during the races, and retrieving the marks at the conclusion of racing before returning them to the storage area.  Races will be held in the Gulf and the Bay. 

One boat is needed as the Signal boat from which the race committee runs the race.  One boat is needed as a mark boat, 

Each mark boat will need two volunteers to assist with handling the marks while the boat owner operates the vessel.

The Gulf races run from September to June.  The bay races will be held every Friday in October and May at 6pm.
