The weather was a little iffy at the start, but the bad weather blew inland leaving a light breeze and cloud cover for this race. Our Commodore, Tom Kennedy, got the award for the best decorated boat. Sheryl Barnes got the award for the best pirate look. The course could be rounded in any direction and half the boats went north, half south. Denis Bosi apparently has a little trouble reading directions, and thinking all had already rounded the southern marks, plucked them out of the water along with all the scavenger hunt items before the other competitors could reach them! Dave and Chris Kelly came over the line first with laundry and all items except those that were on board with Denis. It was all in fun and a wet good time was had by all.
