This years Cup Race will also consist of separate races for monohull, catamarans, Pearson Ensigns, Sunfish, Optimist Prams, a variety of Kayaks and outriggers.
This years monohull race is open to WFPHRF True Cruising Class, Non Spinnaker and Spinnaker. The races will be held in the Gulf of Mexico, between Clearwater Pass and Hurricane pass. The races will be approximately 10-12 miles in length, and course location will be announced in the Notice of Race (NOR). A second monohull event, the Dunedin Cup “Lite” will be held in the bay, just north of the Dunedin Fishing Pier. This event will be open to boats without PHRF ratings, and is limited to boats under 27 feet in length. A Notice of Race and an Application form is also available by clicking on the links above.
