For those of you who would
prefer to over night with a marina life style there is the following
option:
The Badders's will be staying
at the Twin Dolphins Marina Friday and Saturday nights. It is
located just 10 KM south east of Egmont Key on the south side of the
Manatee River at the first bridge.
The website for Twin Dolphins
is www.twindolphinsmarina.com, the rate is $1.50 per foot plus $6
for electric per night. If you stay two nights you get a free bag of
ice and a $20 gift card for Matison's Riverside Restaurant, which
has live bands and dancing in the evening. This would be a
great gathering place for all of those arriving Friday.
The marina amenities are:
a nice pool, gas grills, 6 private bathrooms, and laundry
facilities. The pool area has plenty of table and chairs so we
could host Saturday night up at the pool for dinner and cook out on
the grills.
